Why we shoot in motion

A still pose tells you what a dress looks like. Movement tells you how it feels to wear.

We ask for one step, one turn, one jump per look. Fabric falls differently every time, and the best frame is usually the one nobody planned.

On set we shoot in bursts, then pick the frame where the clothes move and the shape still reads. Motion blur is not a mistake for us. It is the part of the image that shows time passing.
